Who Are We?

Curtin Volunteers! is run by students of Curtin as a non-profit organization interested in making a difference in the community and the world as a whole. CV! aims to provide means for Curtin students, staff and the general public to show their concern and love for the community through various activities.

HISTORY:
John Curtin is someone who is very interested in the community and environment through out his appointment as Prime Minister of Western Australia. As such, Curtin Volunteers! was formed to continue the life-long legacy of his concern for all people, both fortunate and the less fortunate, and the environment through volunteer work. Its activities include fund-raising, visits to social homes or cleaning projects . "John Curtin Day" marks the anniversary of John Curtin's appointment on 7 October 1941. Every year, Curtin Volunteers! organizes activities to commemorate this prestigious date by having a "John Curtin Weekend".
